Abstract

The aim of this doctoral project is to develop methods for early and interpretable detection of pedestrian intentions in urban autonomous-driving scenarios. By fusing classical multi-target tracking with learning-based predictors, the research seeks to improve situational awareness, anticipate risk sooner, and quantify the resulting gains in ride comfort and collision avoidance.
